In today's world
of picture framing many glass products are available.
They can essentially be classified into 3 categories:
- Regular ...also
known as clear
- Reduced Reflection...also
known as non-glare
- Anti-Reflective...specialty
product that is as clear as regular glass and more
anti-reflective than non-glare.
All 3 of these types
of glass are available with UV (Ultraviolet) filtering
capabilities often used when conservation framing is needed
or fading must be minimized as much as possible. Acrylic
is also available when weight or breakage is of a concern.
Acrylic is currently available only in regular or non-glare
forms with or without UV capabilities. |
