Many frame shops dislike framing needle art because of the greater amount of
time required doing a quality job. Since we opened for
business in 1987 we have framed thousands of needle art
projects including, counted cross stitch, needle point,
crewel, tapestries and even latch hook rugs. Needle art
must be conservation framed, which means that all materials
that touch the art must not do damage to the art and preserve
it in the best means possible. The needle art must be
mounted to a conservation mount board in such a way that
it can be removed in the future (that means no glue or
adhesives), any matting that is used must be of conservation
standards, and if you choose to use glass we will recommend
a conservation UV filtering product. Our designer's have many years of experience in needle art
framing, you can trust them to advise you of the best
way to preserve and display your needle art for many years
of lasting enjoyment.
